Cut It Up Design Team!!!

Hi there!  I have some exciting news!  I'm so happy to announce that I am on the first Cut It Up Design Team!  Cut It Up is a brand new challenge blog.  Every other Friday, starting September 7, 2012, there will be a new challenge.  All of the challenges will require you to use a die-cut on your project and additional themes or requirements may be added as well.  You won't be limited to one type of machine or cut, you can use any die-cut machine you want!  Whether you are a fan of the Cricut, Silhouette Cameo, Spellbinders, etc., this challenge blog is one for you!  Make sure you go check out the rest of the design team as well as the Cut It Up challenge blog!  Have a great day everyone!  :)

Krafty Girls Challenge #15 - Anything Goes!

Hi everyone!  It's time for another Krafty Girls challenge!  Sadly, this will be the last challenge at Krafty Girls.  I have had fun working with this design team and will miss it alot!   The theme of this challenge is Anything Goes!  For my project I made my first Halloween card for the year!  I just got the Bump in the Night cartridge while it was on clearance at Walmart and could not wait to use it!  It has so many cute cuts on it!  I put this cute little monster on an Action Wobble.  Make sure you head over to Krafty Girls to link up your project and see what the rest of the design team created!

Just Swingin' By To Say Hello!

Hi there!  Today I'm sharing a card that I am sending to Madison from Funky Cards for her I Feel the Love Project.  This month she is collecting cards for a sweet little girl named Olivia!  You can learn more about her story HERE.  For this card I pulled out my favorite cartridge, Create a Critter.  I cut out the monkey and since it's for a girl I gave her a bow and some little bling earrings!  I am going to enter this into the Cardz TV and Simon Says Stamp challenges which are both to use an animal on your project.  Thanks for swingin' by and have a great day!  :)

Krafty Girls Challenge #14- Very Punny!

Hi everyone!  It's time for another Krafty Girls challenge!  The challenge is to create a paper project with a pun.  This is a card I made for a co-worker who is having a birthday this week.  She really likes coffee so I used this cut from the Love You a Latte cartridge.  I also put a little pocket on the inside to hold a Starbucks gift card.  I am going to enter this into the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge #30 which is create a card with an image that is popped up.  I am also entering this into Getting Cricky which is to use a pun on your project and Made Especially For You which is a sketch.  Make sure you head over to Krafty Girls to link up your project and see what the rest of the design team created!  Thanks for looking and have a great day!  :)

Hello Kitty Card and Post-It-Note Holder

Hi there!  I made this card for a bloggy friend that's going through a hard time.  Everyone loves Hello Kitty so I thought this card and post-it-note holder would cheer her up!  Mary from Cardz TV made an adorable tent topper card a couple months ago that you can see HERE.  I decided to give it a try.  I also made a matching post-it-note holder for her.  I found these cute little Hello Kitty pens at Target!  I will be entering this into a few challenges.  Thanks for looking and have a great weekend!  :)
