Butterfly Award!

Hi!  I recently received the Butterfly Award from two very sweet bloggers! They are Amy from Redheaded Crafter and Karen from Little Scrap Pieces!
There are some rules to follow so here they are:
  1. Answer several questions
  2. Award the 'Butterfly Award' to other bloggers
  3. Contact the bloggers to let them know they have received this award
  4. Put a link to the person who gave you the 'Butterfly Award' in the post

Here are my answers to the questions....

Q1) Name your favorite color?  It changes all the time, but today it's purple

Q2) Name your favorite song? Any song from the Rolling Stones and Maroon 5's new song Moves Like Jagger

Q3) Name your favorite dessert? Brownies!

Q4) What wizzes you off at the moment? The dog won't stop barking!

Q5) Your favorite pet? My Bulldog, Toby

Q6) Black or White? White

Q7) Your biggest fear?  Bugs

Q8) Best feature? Not sure at the moment

Q9) Everyday attitude?  Try to look on the bright side

Q10) What is perfection? My kids :)

Q11) Guilty pleasure? Reality TV

Q12) When you're upset you? Cry, then scream, then stomp my feet... then do some crafting, of course! ;)

That's all of the questions!  Now I have to pass it on to a few other bloggers.  I am going to pass it on to Amy and Karen since it was very sweet of them to pass it on to me and I love their blogs and what they create!  The other bloggers I chose because I also love their blogs and what they create too.  They all make such awesome projects.  In alphabetical order here is who I have picked....

Amy- Redheaded Crafter
Karen- Little Scrap Pieces
Karen- Kaleidoscopic Sparkles
Linda- Crafting With Nana
Lisa- A Mermaid's Crafts
Maribel- I Love Scrapping
Shen- My Curious Crafts
Sherrie- Sherrie Scraps With Passion

All of those bloggers are so wonderful and make beautiful projects.  If you don't follow them already then head over there and check out their blog!  You won't be disappointed!  Thanks again to Amy and Karen!

Hope you have a great day and thanks for looking!  :)

Back To School Post-It-Note Stand

Happy Sunday everyone!  This is a Post-It Note Stand I made for my son to give to his teacher at the Meet and Greet the week before school starts.  He is entering 3rd grade this year.  For the little apple I used a Fiskars punch I got on clearance for $3.00 right after Christmas last year.  I used a 4" x 6" acrylic frame for the base.  I got the school patterned paper in the open stock section at A.C. Moore.  I am going to enter it into a few challenges.  Hope you have a great rest of the day and thanks for looking!  :)

Jumbo Paperclip Bookmarks

Happy Friday everyone!  Today I'm sharing some bookmarks I made.  I am going to enter them into the Thankful Thursday Bookmark Challenge over at Crazy About Cricut.  I started with some jumbo paperclips I bought at Staples.  I punched out the shapes for the tops using a scallop punch and circle punches and then applied two coats of Mod Podge to make them shiny and sturdy.  I then used glue dots to attach them to the clips.  I used different embellishments to decorate them.  Hope you have a great weekend and thanks for looking! :)
